Maarten joined Wind River when they acquired his DSP start-up and has since worked on real-time, virtualization, distributed and partitioned systems, safety-critical systems and development tooling. A self-described professional nerd, Maarten has a passion for enabling computers to help humans stay safe. Maarten has a CS/EEE degree from the University of Waterloo. He spends his free time trying to sail his beach cat in the surprising weather conditions of Lake Ontario.
